Take a stroll back to a simpler time, when it was all about the harmony! Join us for an all-star line up of your favorites, guaranteed to conjure memories of the Doo Wop era, including: The Marcels, Frankie Ford, Larry Chance & the Earls, The Elegants, The Toys, The Demensions, The Knockouts, and Bill Haley's Comets.

March 8 - Daylight Savings Time starts

March 10 - 12 - STOMP - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Hwy. E. (Rt. 30), Lancaster, PA 17602, 717-397-7700, 800-648-4102. Who knew that ordinary household items could ever sound so good? The originators of STOMP, a group of street performers, created a pulsating rhythm using everyday objects in non-traditional ways. There's no speech, no dialogue, not even a plot. Just a lot of high-energy performances guaranteed to have you out of your seat and wanting to join in.

March 13 - The Brothers Four, New Christy Minstrels, Livingston Taylor, Chad Mitchell Trio - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Hwy. E. (Rt. 30), Lancaster, PA 17602, 717-397-7700, 800-648-4102. Folkies unite! One night only— four legendary performers appearing on one Folk-filled bill! Come and hear folk music the way it was meant to be by some of the originators of the genre: The New Christy Minstrels (“This Land is Your Land”), The Brothers Four (“500 Miles,” “Across the Sea”), Livingston Taylor (“I Will be in Love with You”), and the Chad Mitchell Trio (“Four Strong Winds”).

March 14 - The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Hwy. E. (Rt. 30), Lancaster, PA 17602, 717-397-7700, 800-648-4102. The globe-trotting Flat Stanley will slow down just long enough to stop and visit all his friends in Cental PA. Based on a popular children’s book, Flat Stanley Lambchop makes the most of his flattened condition to educate children on the value of journal keeping and ways for kids to learn about other parts of the world. This family-friendly and educational show is sure to be a fun time for all!

March 14 - Yakov Smirnoff - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Hwy. E. (Rt. 30), Lancaster, PA 17602, 717-397-7700, 800-648-4102. Since he first arrived in the USA, comedian Yakov Smirnoff has built a career on his perpetually awe-struck Russian immigrant persona. The fall of Communism has not slowed him down one bit. Smirnoff will tear himself away from his own theater in Branson just long enough to bring some family-friendly laughs to Lancaster. “What a country!”

March 21 - The Oak Ridge Boys - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Hwy. E. (Rt. 30), Lancaster, PA 17602, 717-397-7700, 800-648-4102. Theirs is one of the most distinctive and recognizable sounds in the music industry. The four-part harmonies and upbeat songs of The Oak Ridge Boys have spawned dozens of country hits. Throughout their career, the Oak Ridge Boys have received ten gold records, three platinum records, one double platinum record and one double platinum single. Some of their hits include: “Elvira,” “Dream On,” “Bobby Sue,” “Fancy Free,” “American Made” and “Thank God for Kids.” Oak Ridge Boy and Philadelphia-native Joe Bonsall is the author of the book and song, GI Joe and Lillie, the touching story of his parents. Don’t miss the return of these AMT favorites!

March 22 - Connie Francis - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Hwy. E. (Rt. 30), Lancaster, PA 17602, 717-397-7700, 800-648-4102. “Who’s Sorry Now?”—not America’s Sweetheart of Song, Connie Francis! Since her signature hit in 1958, and after 50 years in the entertainment industry, number one selling female recording artist Connie Francis continues to delight audiences everywhere she appears. After one sold out performance in California last year, the San Francisco Chronicle declared, “…the crowd loves Connie Francis…they don’t make pop stars like her anymore.” How true!

March 25 - American Idol Pop Tour - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Hwy. E. (Rt. 30), Lancaster, PA 17602, 717-397-7700, 800-648-4102. The talent show that changed how America finds its next “superstar” is taking some of its best and brightest contestants out on the road! Relive the excitement of past competitions and have the opportunity to see and hear some of your favorite finalists live… among those scheduled to appear: heart-throb Constantine Maroulis and vocalist-extraordinaire David Hernandez. More Idols will be added to the bill, so don’t miss this night of fantastic pop music— Idol-Style @ AMT!

March 27 - Eric Burdon & The Animals and Spencer Davis Group - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Hwy. E. Who could forget that growling lyric from lead singer Eric Burdon, one of the seminal figures of the 1960s British Invasion! During his tenure with The Animals, Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame member and legendary singer Eric Burdon has charted 25 Top 40 hits including classics like: “House of the Rising Sun,” “We’ve Gotta Get out of This Place, “ “Spill the Wine, ” “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood, “ and more. Sharing the bill at AMT will be The Spencer Davis Group. Formed in 1963, The Spencer Davis Group was the epitome of blue-eyed soul, doing their part to bring British Rock and Roll to the rest of the world. Who can forget that blazing Hammond organ on their mega hits: “Gimme Some Lovin “ and “I’m a Man.“ Other hits included "Somebody Help Me," and "Keep on Runnin'." Early on, Spencer Davis Group toured with the likes of contemporaries The Who and The Rolling Stones. Don’t miss out on this evening of great classic rock n’ roll!

March 28 - Jungle Jack Hanna - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Hwy. E. (Rt. 30), Lancaster, PA 17602, 717-397-7700, 800-648-4102. Former Executive Director of the Columbus Zoo, Jack Hanna brings his family-friendly animal show on the road. Through his nationally syndicated television show Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures, and hundreds of appearances on the Late Show with David Letterman, Good Morning America and Larry King Live, animal expert Jack Hanna has become a household name. Jungle Jack’s live show features many of his favorite animal friends, as well as fascinating and humorous stories and footage from his adventures around the world. Audiences give Jack rave reviews – everyone from the youngest child to the oldest adult is entertained and inspired.

March 28 - An Evening with Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Hwy. E. (Rt. 30), Lancaster, PA 17602, 717-397-7700, 800-648-4102. Following enormously successful solo tours, Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood, stars of the Emmy-nominated program Whose Line Is It Anyway?, have teamed up to present an evening of extraordinary improvisational comedy. Using their quick wit, Colin and Brad take contributions from the audience to create hilarious and original scenes. Throughout the evening, the show becomes truly interactive as audience members are called to the stage to participate in the fun. Don’t sit too close to the stage, or you might just become part of the zany action!

Country legend George Jones continues to make his brand of county music, which has produced hits in every decade of the second half of the 20th century. In fact, Jones has had more charted singles than any other artist in any format of popular music. One of the greatest honky tonk singers of all time, his songs include: “White Lightning,” “Tender Years” and “He Stopped Loving Her Today.” Vintage Country never sounded so good!

March 31 - April 2 - Movin' Out - American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Hwy. E. (Rt. 30), Lancaster, PA 17602, 717-397-7700, 800-648-4102. 5-time Grammy winner Billy Joel and legendary director/choreographer Twyla Tharp have joined forces to create the spectacular new musical Time Magazine declares "The #1 show of the year!" The New York Times calls MOVIN' OUT "a shimmering portrait of an American generation. These tornado driven dancers and rock musicians propel the audience into delirious ovations." MOVIN' OUT brings 24 Billy Joel classics to electrifying new life as it tells the story of five life-long friends over two turbulent decades. It all adds up to one unforgettable Broadway musical.
